More Spring Decor

Time is "hopping" by so quickly! I can't believe Spring has officially arrived today. I've had so many little and big projects going. Company just left and believe it or not someone just called from MI and wanted to stay till Wed. and I just had to say, "It's not a good time, SORRY! " I felt so bad. It's hard to turn someone away but I honestly couldn't do it right now. I'm working on a class to teach young married ladies at our church about decorating. There is only so much time in a day, right? I'm not the type to do without my sleep so that has to take 7 hours of the 24. I wish I had unlimited energy. Oh well, off to my post.

Today I thought I would finish Spring decor and next week post some of the projects I've been doing.

Our mantel in the F.R. The big bunnies came from Marshall's. They have so much detail and character.

I've since moved them closer together on the hearth.

A little friend setting on a table.

The next two are bunnies I painted years ago and still love the detail and sweet faces on them. They set on the mantel. Her with her dolly.

He has his pail and Peter Rabbit book.

I painted several wooden eggs dressed in their little suits.

This pair I painted like they had just finished hoeing their carrots. Him with his hoe and her with the "vegetables" from their labor.

Bombay chest in the front foyer.

Others that are setting in numerous places.

The entertainment center decked out for Spring. Notice the big eggs on top. That was some size bird that went over. lol
My friend Ceekay, by phone, helped me arrange the items on the cabinet. She has such a good eye for decorating. I send her some pics and she gives me great tips.

Found these at Garden Ridge. Small ones I painted.

Hope you had fun while visiting and that you enjoy this first weekend of Spring!
Be sure to hop over to Kelli's at There is no place like home for more show & tell.

There are only 24 hours in a day, and out-of-town company should not feel badly when you say, "Sorry." Your decorations look Bunniest. Here's my post:

I love your spring decor. It reminds me I need to get mine out. The way the time flies it will be summer and my little bunnies will still all be in their hiding places.

Thank you for the comments you made about my Thomas Kinkade post. On my other blog today I used one of his books for what I wrote for Spiritual Sundays. It's about balance. If you are interested in reading it, here is the url.

EVERYTHING looks so pretty. I wish my house were that far along, but I'm having trouble working up the energy to get started.

The bunnies that you painted are adorable. What talent!! Do you still paint? It sounds like maybe you don't have time for that now.

I thoroughly enjoyed a look at your spring decor.

That's a passle of cute bunnies! I only have a little bit of spring stuff and don't have it out yet. I'd better hurry! I plan to get to Hobby Lobby the day after Easter for some 90% off lovelies.

Hi Ro,
Love all your decor for Spring. I have the first bunny on the table you show. Used it in my garden for a few years and now it needs some fresh paint. I also painted those very same bunnies when I was studying decorate art many years ago. Sold them in my mall space. Yours are just lovely. And I reconize a few of the other patterns for bunnies too. The mantel is perfectly Spring.
Wonderful Ceekay does have such a great eye for pulling a look together. You do as well. In fact, your home should be in a magazine feature.

Thanks for stopping by the Spring party. Always great to see you.
Have a great week.
hugs, Celestina Marie
I sure wish you lived near by.
