I thought I would do a tablescape in the Dining Room today. Last week I made a couple of new runners. One for the table and one for the buffet so I decided to bring in all their colors into the tablescape.
I used red chargers, black plates, and green salad plates.

I put them on black place mats.

I used a fruit centerpiece with candles.

Gold napkins rolled in the goblets.

A votive candle in a square glass bowl.

Thanks for stopping in today and please go take a look at other beautiful tables at Between Naps On The Porch
Have a happy week!

This looks soooo pretty, warm and welcoming! It's always a treat to see that someone has had a part in actually "making" the setting (your runners, etc)~~~ Just lovely! So glad you shared! Thank you, Linda

Adding the colorful, wider table runner was a great idea..your entire table is lovely today. I went back to look at earlier posts and must say your tablescapes are always lovely. Little Jonas and Ivy are truly beautiful children. My mother used to make all of our clothes and so many of them were plaid - I love plaid!

I love your tablescape. I have been thinking about making tablerunners and placemats. But, you've done it. You have inspired me. I am not liking what I'm finding in the stores. I love the plaid you used. The colors are so.. pretty. And I adore your centerpiece. Great job!

This is soooo warm and inviting...especially with the plaid and the candlelight. Your china works so well with the colors in your runners...so neat that you made them! What a gorgeous centerpiece! And I love how you displayed the napkins.

I love your combination of plate and charger colors. The black is just fun.. Your centerpiece is warm and inviting. Such a relaxing table to sit and enjoy a meal and conversation. Thanks for swinging in to see Miss Kitty and Mr. Mouse scamper around the blues and white. I enjoyed your visit. Hope to see you again soon. hugs ~lynne~

your table looks wonderful! Duke's website is http://www.righteousduke.com/ and then once there, click on "send it" and you'll see the story about the painting and if you are interested in purchasing one, there's a link on his site for his gallery to show you all his artwork and a link to make a purchase. I did get your email about the chicken yesterday, I emailed you back. You can just mix up all the ingredients in a seperate bowl, throw the chicken (thawed or frozen-I prefer thawed on this one) into the greased crock pot. pour the ingredients you mixed together over the chicken, cover with your lid and cook for 5-6 hours. It is so yummy! Let me know if you try it and if you like it!

Oh Goodness... I'm sorry I just now read your question.
I bought the dangly crystal plate holder at Pier 1. I have to tell you though it was about 6 years ago. I don't know if they would have anything like it anymore. It has really been one of my all time favorites. Maybe crytals could be added to one with a bit of wire.

Good Luck and happy shopping.
have a wonderful weekend.
