Kitchen Cabinets

Projects, projects, do they ever end?   lol    There is always something to add to the list, isn't there?
I had wanted to add bead board to the ends of our cabinets for quite a while.   Well, it finally got done!
I know many ladies are doing the bead board wallpaper, and I thought about doing that.  It looks very nice!
Since I have a handyman that does some work for us at very reasonable prices, I decided to go with the wood bead board.
Seriously, it makes the cabinets look finished..compared to the builder grade cabinets.

We did all the areas that were visible.   On the inside of the windows, too.
I love the look of it!
He did the ends on my pass through, as well.
The kitchen island on all sides, too.
All done and on to the next project...because you know there is one on the horizon!  lol

Are you busy tackling a project at your house?

Oh my, you are so right! We've been working on a few things around here, but as soon as we think we've finished, we see something else -- vicious circle sometimes! The breadboard looks great, & I prefer the real wood myself.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog & leaving a nice comment. Doing my Fall decorating is my way of coping with the heat I know we will have for at least another month!

I think you made the perfect choice with the wood beadboard. I love the looks of it. We have it on the kitchen island and snack bar.
Your kitchen is so pretty. I always enjoy seeing little glimpses of it :).
Our next project is going to be either painting the bonus room or cleaning the garage. I think the bonus room sounds more appealing. LOL.

Your kitchen is very pretty and what a nice job your handy man did on the cabinets. The kitchen looks like a cozy warm place for family and friends to gather and share food and conversation.----------- Shannon

WOW! That looks beautiful! What a great idea to change the look of your kitchen cabinets. We're not doing any projects for awhile since money is a bit tight with our girl in college. Thanks for the visit, enjoy your day!

I just love your kitchen. So bright and cheery. I think adding the beadboard to the cabinets looks wonderful. It adds so much to the cabinet. I finally got enough nerve up to beadboard my builder grade island and paint it as well. It makes such a difference. You can check it out here if you'd like. http://wvcountryroads.blogspot.com/2012/06/kitchen-island-redo.html

Your kitchen looks fabulous. I'm kind of like you, I'm always planning projects, the trick is actually finishing one of them... :)

I have a lot of beadwork all around my house. My white kitchen looks very similar to yours. grayish tile floor. white subway tile. red accents. white beadwork cabinets. textured glass in small framed upper cabinets. Love beadwork!

What a nice surprise to hear from you! Thank you for your congratulations to our 20th anniversary!

I hope you and your family are doing well! We haven't been across "your mountain" in several years, haven't made that long trip to SC and Knoxville, the kids have been coming here instead, but we do plan to go to Florence around the 10th of Feb. for Caden's Grandparent's Day at his school. We aren't going to Knoxville tho, that drive home from there is 11 hours, just can't make it anymore. Do you still come to FL? Stop in to see us sometime!

Would love an update on what's going on in your world!
