It's that time of the year to hit the apple orchards for some delicious fruit and veggies. We did just that the other day in NC at Justus Orchards.

They have a beautiful view of the mountains.
The red roofed house sits on the back side of the property.

Some parts of NC lost their apples due to a very late frost this past Spring. Justus Orchards were spared and have an over abundance.
To pick blueberries you have to take the road near their house. I couldn't resist taking a pic.Couldn't come home without some fresh produce. Loved eating those peaches and berries.
I still have a few apples left. Would you like one?
All good things must come to an end. Check out that view as we head home.
What's been happening around your house?

I would pick the blackberries! Love them but they are usually so expensive that I don't get them often. Love this time of the year!
That is a beautiful place...the house is so cozy there...looks like fun!
We have a huge Farmer's Market nearby and the peaches (they grow almost everything they sell), have been so wonderful this year. It is apple time here too. I hope to pay them a little visit tomorrow and re-stock my veggies and fruits. That's a gorgeous view!
These are beautiful photos! What a great place to visit and load up on fruit. We have an orchard near our home in Michigan and they have a restaurant, gift shop and little grocery store. I just love going there. It's a fun way to spend the day! :)

That is so beautiful! Love all the fresh fruit! I can't wait to get some apples in a few weeks. The view was amazing!
What a fun day at the orchard. Your pics are so inviting and I love that fruit you share.
Sounds like the perfect day to inspire for the fall season.

See you soon,

That looks like a place I'd like to visit and stay a while. I'm your newest follower.
I am looking forward to visiting an apple orchard and getting some fresh, crisp apples and apple cider. I'm not familiar with Justus Farms, but it looks like a nice one. I'll have to Google it.
I'm sorry to hear about your surgery and long recovery. Glad you are feeling better now.
Take Care.
Your post reminds me that I need to get to a farm market! Usually go to pick up gourds and pumpkins, but I'm always enticed by the fruits and the Angel Food cakes! Can't come home without some sweets. :-).
