How Small Can Cars Go

Many Europeans are keen on their "Smart Car" — "the first European electric vehicles that are fully operational for everyday use." The concept is owned by the Germans and manufactured in France. To give you an idea of the size of the Smart Car, here's a picture of this energy-efficient, environmentally-friendly vehicle that our government will probably soon mandate that we all must use, much like the squiggly fluorescent light bulb.

They come in a variety of colors — here's a picture of a stack of them at a dealership

Though I had heard of Smart Cars, I recently was informed to the fact that they are highly customizable. Tuning kits available from Carlsson Products allow you to change rather significantly the look of your Smart Car. The kits include alloy wheels, an aluminum pedal set, a fog light, front spoiler, grill inlet, handbrake lever, rear skirt, sport rear silencer, and wiring harness.
Never satisfied with the status quo, though, others have come up with body kits that totally change the look of the Smart Car. Here's what they've come up with so far.

The Smamborghini!

The Smaudi A3 AWD!

The Smerrari!

The Smorsche!

The Smorsche Targa!

The Smorvette!

and last, but not least...
The Smustang!

I hope you are having a good Thursday!!
See ya soon!

Hi Rose,
Loved this post, but where would we put all of those things we buy at yard sales and the mall. The government must really want us in a depression. They are cute, but the hose was a hoot.

Commenting on your last post. I am sorry to hear about your mother and brother, but thankful all is better. I loved the dishes, beautiful. I can't tell you the last time I went shopping, but dh has given me orders to go tomorrow, now when a husband tells you to go shopping you know you have been in a lull. lol
I have put CeeKay on my prayer list, and willbe much in prayer for her healing.

Yes! I am so much better, thank you for asking.I have even started bike riding as well as walking.I haven't gotten my home back in order yet, as I have been spending as much time outside as possible since I was in for so long. And getting back in shape is my priority right now. You should have seen me trying to climb off the bike, a sight to behold.
But hopefully by Easter I will have everything done. LOl. Enjoy your evening.
Hugs,
Sue

Cute! And funny! I don't understand why they are called Smart cars, seems to me it isn't smart to ride in one since an accident could totally wipe you out! Maybe that's what our government wants??

Love, love the last one!!! That is hysterical!

There is no way I could ride in one of those cars! They are so small! I'd be scared when a truck came up behind me or passed me. Not to mention getting in one! Can you imagine the damage one would do to my hair!!!! And you know it's all about the hair!

enjoy your day!!

Ha, Ha ~ now that is cute. Love that smustang.
I am trying to do my part for the environment. Just purchased a hybrid car. It is going to take a little getting used to, but I think I can adapt.

I saw one of those in our town the other day and had a good chuckle - and tried to imagine how claustrophobic I'd be in there, and wondering what IIwould do with all these little grands if I had to have one of those! I sure hope Big Brother doesn't start deciding what we have to drive - they already have too much control of our daily lives!

Hope it warms up soon - for all of us, but especially down there where it's so out of character.
