Winter decoration

I saw this project in a magazine somewhere and knew I could use things I already had in the house so I commenced to gather the supplies that you see below. Household scissors, tacky glue, construction paper, magnetic strip and three different size circles. I used whatever was available for those, which were a Nichol, contact lens case and a button pin that was a little larger. These are a few pieces. Can you guess what it is?------- You're right!

I made my own pattern and guessed at the size I wanted it to be. You could make it smaller or larger. It would, of course, work best on a white frig. and one that has a visible side. I have seen it done on the front, though. The kids or grand kids in the house will love it.

I changed the mittens to blue after I took the first picture. Which do you like best?

Thanks for taking a peek at my first winter decor. Now, I need to go dig through the Christmas tubs.

Have fun shopping this weekend. The sales have already started here.

A darling snowman - you're so clever! Green or blue, the mittens are darling (but I vote for green!). Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. You have much to be thankful for this year!

Very cute...I like both color mittens.

It looks to me as though the mitten on the right should be the one on the left...with fingers pointing down...and vice versa with the other. Try it once and see! Cuz it just doesn't look like his hands are going the right way.

Sometimes the simple things are the best - this is one example.

I think the green mittens are what I'd prefer, but its really up to the snowman, isn't it?

What a cute idea on how to decorate your frig for the holidays. I have a hard time getting my dh to stop putting things on my frig.

How fun! I love it...another great project for the Grands!

I like the green mittens...red would be good too!

A pair of mittens for each child, then they can make him their own when they visit!

OOH, the possibilities are endless!

Thanks,
Susie

VEry cute! My grands would love it. The blue would definitely be best with my kitchen!

I really don't like shopping, so don't know when I'll get going! I especially don't like the crowds on "Black Friday!"
