Turkey Feathers

When I was doing craft shows a few years back, I painted a turkey's head and feathers to stick into a faux pumpkin. I just got mine out to display last night and thought I would post it for Show& Tell . Mine is setting on a table on the front porch. They were simple and fun to make and always sold well. They have pegs that are sharpened like a pencil to stick into the pumpkin.

Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!

Oh Rose, that looks so cute on the porch. I really need to get hubby to drill holes in a pumpkin so I can put mine out too! Love it!

That is so cute! I would love to make some. Did you cut them yourself or did you buy them pre-cut?

What a good idea - and easy enough that children could do it!

I wonder how it might look with feathers - bet we could work a real turkey out if it?

thanks for sharing

Greetings and so nice to see you and thank you for your visit.
I love your turkey what a terrific idea. I can see that would have sold well for you. What a great way to transform the halloween pumpkins and celebrate Thanksgiving.
I too did hundreds of those art shows in the 80's and 90's too. Hardly see them anymore due to the internet.
Have a great day and see you again soon.
Blessings, Celestina
