Fall Decorating

I hope you're all enjoying a little cooler weather! We have dropped about 10 degrees this week.
Still hot but more bearable. My brother and sis-in-law were here for a week so now I'm getting back into the groove around here.
Hubby offered to help me get some decorations out and we started with the outside.

Here are some pics of the front yard with his huge mound of impatiens. He plants everything with Miracle grow and mushroom compost.

Got the covers out for the rockers.

Unpacked tons of pumpkins!

Made a little pumpkin patch.

Speaking of which..... lol

These flowers have exploded and are growing up the front tree. lol They are requiring soooo much water each day, it's not funny!

Hung a pumpkin head on the tree. I painted it many years ago. He's such a happy fellow with that huge smile. lol Some have said he looks like Buddy Hackett. Anyone remember that actor??

Hope you're having a fun week so far. Thanks for stopping! Till next time!

We are enjoying the slightly cooler weather. Your yard looks so nice and the decorations look great too. Your one pumpkin does bear a resemblance to Buddy Hackett. Too funny.
Your hubbies impatiens look beautiful. The mushroom compost and Miracle Grow seem to be a winning combination.

Very clever "planting" the pumpkins. I should try this. so many fun ideas! I like the little welcome sign too. Your yard sure doesn't look like Fall to me, it is so clean. My needs a little fall cleaning.

Wow! You sure know how to decorate for fall. I love to see what other people do for decorating the yard because I don't do it very well. The pumpkin garden you made is very imaginative. Your entire yard looks great, especially those giant impatiens. Your husband is a good gardener.------

You have been very busy! I love your tablescape. Those orange plates are fabulous! The pumpkin head on the tree is adorable. It looks like the pumpkin head is sitting on a skirt of flowers. So cute!

I really love your pumpkin patch. You are really getting into the autumn mood - despite the heat. It's beautiful! I wish it would cool off 10 degrees here!

LOL~~ oh your cute pumpkin does look like Buddie Hacket. So cute atop your thrifing and gorgeous impatiens. I had them here, but when the very high heat hit, they did not stand a chance.

Love your outside decor. It all looks so inviting and just sings Autumn.
I worked on mine last weekend inside and outside. Did a post for some of the inside and will show the outside later. We are finally cooling off like you and it is so welcomed.

I love your yard and all the great decorating ideas you share here. The rockers are so cute with the covers. What a great place to sit and relax on a Fall evening or to pass out candy.
Your header of the table is beautiful. I always enjoy to see your tablescapes.

Have a great weekend my friend.

Your impatiens are just gorgeous! I love them, but we cannot get them to grow in our yard. There's a huge pine tree on the way to church that has a ring of them around the tree that is fabulous - I love to look at it every time we pass it.

It does look like Buddy Hackett!!

I need to get my few decorations out and up - but the girlies like to play with everything, so it's kind of a frustration for me to even try - maybe some year!

Yeah for cooler temps - and time for pumpkins! Just love the pumpkins among the impatiens!! We are just back from Florida for a week - the temps there were perfect!! Had such a nice time and now ready to catch up at home...and get my pumpkins out!

Have a wonderful week ahead (ps you wrote this post on the 14th...our anniversary! special day!)

Take care, friend.
