Valentine's Day

I'm joining Susan @Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday. Be sure to visit her wonderful blog and see many other tablescapes.

It's February and we all know what that means.....Valentine's Day! So in honor of the "Love Day" I put together this red & white tablescape in my kitchen.

The only thing that is new is the centerpiece heart box and the napkins. I had all the other dishes, chargers, etc.

White plates are Jaclyn Smith collection.

Polka Dot plates from HG.
You have to have something chocolate on Valentine's Day. I added the chocolate hearts on the plates.

Cute heart napkins from Home Goods this year.

Napkin rings from Old Time Pottery.

Heart Shape plate from HG.

I found this heart shape container at HG a couple of weeks ago. I knew it would go perfect with the polka dot plates.

It has a little heart knob on the lid.

I filled it with Valentine Chinese cookies. I bet you didn't know they had such things. (smile)

It took a few tries to master them but then they were easy.

Just type the message you want to slip inside and print them out.

I love these beaded coasters that Ceekay @Thinkin' of Home sent me from AZ.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit. I appreciate all of you!
Have a great week and if you're in the states that got the latest storm...stay safe and warm!

Your table is beautiful! I love how you use your valentine accent pieces with other dishes you have -- shows us that everything doesn't have to be Valentine to get the overall impression. Thank you for the inspiration! Annie

When I was 9 years old, I took my first ceramics class. Your wonderful heart box made me remember that the first piece that I ever made was a heart shape box and a heart shape handle...with a heart shape knob. Of course, mine was blue and white. I still have it...I think that I'll bring it out for Valentines. Thank you for sharing your charming design...and sparking my memory. Cherry Kay

Hey Girlfriend,
I just love your table. The centerpiece heart box is adorable and the chinese cookies inside are the perfect touch.
You are the master of tablescapes and you found everything to coordinate so nicely. What an inviting table. I'll be right over. Love the beaded coasters that Ceekay sent you.

I also enjoyed catching up on past posts too. The snowmen are adorable and the PD recipe looks so yummy.

We are really trying to stay warm here. Rolling blackouts all around us and today a fresh snowfall on top the ice. We need it to warm some to melt. With the Superbowl here on Sunday, they predict a wintry snow again. What is going on? Very unusual for us.

Thanks for stopping by. I love the new chair too. Now we are working on the kitchen, but things are at a standstill till we can go view the granite. It is outside and closed for bad weather.

Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs and blessings, Celestina Marie

Extremely valuable information, I have actually constantly preferred laser printers
since they are much less expensive to make use of,
when you make the preliminary investment. Toner cartrages are more costly yet last longer than most individuals several inkjet cartrages and are much less messy to use.
You could set your laser printer to print in grayscale and utilize less of the colour
toner, I just make use of shade when printing images.

Back in the olden days (meaning: 10 years ago) printservers would certainly commonly have their very own set of records that would
certainly be adjoined to every printjob, essentially improving the complication of the task.
That was sometimes enough to make a device lacked memory. I
don't know if it still makes much of a difference nowadays.
