Chinese Cookie Tutorial

On my last post I featured these little paper Chinese Cookies that I made for a tablescape.

Some of you asked how to do them and some said they were already going to try them. I thought I'd share how I did mine.

I did several in two designs.

Use squares of paper used for scrap booking.

I used the white dish to trace 4 circles, one at each corner and the smaller coaster to trace a center circle. I got 5 circles from one sheet.

You have to use a little tacky glue or hot glue to make them stick together where you fold them.

I held them together with a paper clip so I could do more than one at a time till they dried.

While they were drying I typed some messages and printed them out.

I hope this wasn't too confusing. Go to the second site I listed and get better instructions.

Have a great weekend!

Hi Rose, I wanted to come by and see what you have been up too, and as always you do such a beautiful job, creating and decorating, I read your last post, and your Valentines tablescape is beautiful.
I will have to pass this year on decorating for Valentines Day, as I am still recuperating. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers.
Stay warm, we are suppose to get a few inches of snow tonight. I am so ready for spring!
Hugs,
Sue
