New Bird House

A friend of ours gave my hubby this bird house recently for his birthday. Since he has retired he enjoys watching the birds that come to our other feeders.

I wasn't sure where I wanted to place it in our yard until I saw a little picked fence at The Christmas Shop.

Here's how the project started.... 1 bird house.....

little stakes from Walmart to hold Tiki torches......

a 6 ft fence post......

a hubby who is willing to spray paint just about anything....

a cute little butterfly to hang on the fence and voile!!

I had to move it after I realized the sprinkler head kept knocking off my butterfly. lol

Perfect - and such a cute accent in the yard. What birdie would not want to call that home?!? :)

How absolutely cute this is all put together! Who would've thought of combining the little fencing with your "birdhouse on a stick"? LOL Just adorable... Your post on look-alike pets and their owners cracked me up!!

Hi Girlfriend,
Oh I just love the addition of the birdhouse. Happy Birthday to your hubby. He is so creative and did a beautiful job with that little yard vignette. Your yard is gorgeous and I just love your header.

Yes, it is still very hot here and the thermometer only seems to know temps over 100 degrees. No end in sight.

I am feeling better. Had a kidney infection with fever. No fun at all!
I love your pretty avatar pic of gorgeous you!!
Thank you for stopping by. Have a great evening and weekend.
Hugs and Blessings,
Celestina Marie

I am so glad to be back, and thank you for checking on me. I didn't touch my computer for weeks. I went through withdrawals. LOL
Love what you all did with the bird house. Tell your dh what a great job he did. I know you are enjoying having him home.
I read your last post and enjoyed it so much, I have often wondered what dog would favor me. lol or which one I would favor.lol
Again great to be able to visit,

Love how nice it looks! Don't you have a problem with the birds like we do up north? We are constantly cleaning up after them!!! Your hubby did a very nice job!

Hi! I'm doing okay. Phil left early Friday morning and I just received an email that he's back in Afghanistan waiting to head north to where he's stationed. The house is quiet again, but not in a good way! Thanks for checking in on me!
