Day Two in AZ

On day two of our visit with Ceekay in AZ we went high into the mountains hoping to see some wildflowers. Turns out we were a couple of weeks too early. We did see more green than they had seen in years, due to the excessive amount of rain they had.
The scenery was beautiful, for a desert that is. No offense Ceekay. lol
She taught us a little about Cacti. There are so many species. It seems that you tell the age of one by the number of arms it has. The more arms the older it is.

This one is called a Josuha Catcus.

We found an old mining town from 1893.

We had fun taking pictures of the old relics.

We enjoyed the mountains in the backdrop. Some still had snow on their peaks.
Look hubby found an old relic he liked.
What else do you do when site seeing--- YOU EAT!
Seems like we found a lot of good restaurants on this trip. Wait till you see the fondue place we ate at. That's for another post.
Hope you're having a good week. The weather here has finally warmed up and things are blooming.
Till next time-take care.

Hi Girlfriend, Well, if I knew you were flying over Texas, I would have come out and waved!!! LOL
Looks like you had a blast at Ceekay's. Love the pic of ya'll together. The food looks wonderful and now I am hungry just seeing that spread!
Loved the pics of the bathroom in Brighton. Some great ideas there.

Your workout room is great. I just started a new daily program with CD's by Stephanie Huckabee. Liking it so far.

Thank you for stopping by. Hope you and your sweet hubby have a special Easter.
Big hugs, Celestina Marie

Looks like a wonderful time in Arizona - I love visiting there, not in the summertime, but wouldn't want to live there!

You definitely had some good eating experiences - we have Famous Dave's around here, and my husband love to go there. I don't believe he's ever had the garbage can meal though!

It's been a while since I visited your blog and I've just been looking back over several posts and I enjoyed each one. I heard all about the fun time you all had together with C & L. We all just live too far apart don't we? I think we are going to AZ in the Fall. Have a beautiful weekend and a blessed Easter.
