Shoji Tobuchi

We had the opportunity to see violinist Shoji Tobuchi while in Branson last Sept. He has his own theater and was celebrating 20 years of performing there. It is quite elaborate. He was born in Japan. He came to the U.S. with just several hundred dollars determined to become a performer and he realized his dream.

He puts on quite a show. Very classy and very clean.

He played several show tunes from Broadway.

The most talked about things in his theater are the bathrooms. I know--bathrooms! Just wait till you see them. Come take a peak with me. Now I didn't actually go in this one but a reliable source took the pics for me.

Hubby was glad to do it. Many people were snapping pics.

Look, hubby got someone to take his pic while resting by the fireplace in the men's room.

That's nothing--just wait.

All the fixtures are quite beautiful.

Now this is what I was talking about. A pool table and viewing gallery for the men. Can you believe it?? All in the bathroom! You can imagine the size of these rooms.

The women's bathroom was very nice but nothing as elaborate as the men's. We did have a fireplace, though.

Chandeliers and a tin ceiling.

Check it out!

They had personal attendants and a cart loaded with lotions and perfumes for you to try.

A cute baby changing station.

Ladies were snapping their cameras everywhere.

Sorry Shelia, I forgot to snap a mirror photo. Maybe next time.

It was a fun trip and we'd love to go again sometime.

What's been happening around your place?

It would be worth the 8 hour drive there just to see the bathrooms. Then if Shoji plays well that would be icing on the cake. I've heard he has a good show. We rarely do anything but have late dinner on the Belle, see Silver Dollar City and fish on Table Rock Lake. I think I'll go see the bathrooms!

It's a beautiful place Rose! It sure looks like fun.

I ordered the monogram towels from the Neiman Marcus website. We don't have one around here either.
They were having a big white sale and probably still are. I really them so far. They are soft and a nice quality.

Have a wonderful week.

This is very much like the Fox Theater here in Atlanta! I love the old-fashioned dignity "Lounges" had back then.

We loved this place, the bathrooms as well as the shows! Looks like they still have live orchids on the sinks in the ladies bathroom!

Really a fun place!
