Family

I mentioned earlier that Jonas was going to change his costume for Halloween. He decided to wear the mouse costume I made about 30 years ago. He's such a cute little mouse but anything but quiet. He sings up a storm and has quite the personality.
I've lost track of how many kids have worn this outfit, but I think around 10. Ceekay of Thinkin' of Home just reminded me that her kids wore it also. I know my two children, two of my sister's children and her grandchildren, Ceekay's two, 3 of my grandchildren and some neighbors kids wore it. I guess it's no worse for the wear. lol

My sister and niece have come and gone from MI. I had the chance to take her to the mountains before her daughter arrived. We drove to Boone and Blowing Rock, NC.
Here's a pic taken in Blowing Rock.

Here's one in Valle Crucis . The oldest operating country store in America is there. Barely standing but still operating. lol

This is a view from a chalet we stayed in that a friend of mine owns. Gorgeous view of the Fall colors .

My niece arrived for a few days and we went to an Art Museum. It holds the largest collection of religious art in the Western Hemisphere. Twenty seven rooms to be exact. It was a fun time together and we had to get a picture of us girls to savor the memories.

Aimee, me (holding Ivy) Barb and my daughter Sarah.

That's some of what's been happening at our house.
Hope you're enjoying the beautiful Fall weather at your house.

What a cute costume! And it is great that it's been used so often.

Sounds like a wonderful time with your sister --

The pumpkin dessert looks yummy - I like all things pumpkin except pie - odd, eh??

Hi Rose, Oh what a great time had by all. I love the pic of all you girls. What a nice one for making memories. Your trip to the mountains sounds and looks so fun.

I love the little mouse costume you made. Just precious and enjoyed by so many little ones.

We are staying home for Thanksgiving and having company for one week with a live long dear friend. It will be so nice to have her with us. I am planning my menu now and getting things ready along with lots of painting. The time is flying by. Some how it all gets accomplished Lord willing!

Enjoy your days and see you again soon.
Blessings to you. Celestina Marie
p.s. thank you for sharing the recipe for the pumpkin cobbler. I will try it for sure.

Now that's the kind of mouse I would welcome to my house. How sweet that so many kids have enjoyed your costume.
It looks like your days have been busy in a happy kind of way. The pictures are all so nice and now I want to go to Blowing Rock.
