Update on Olivia and A Messy Project

We are so excited that Olivia is now home and on the road to recovery! PTL
Thanks again for all your prayers on her behalf!

She's in her wheelchair getting ready to leave her room with assistance from a worker.

Getting ready to enter the car.   She couldn't wait to get back home.

On another note......Here's the beginning of a mess, of sorts.

Can you guess what it is yet?

We've had several hail storms in the last two years and they damaged our roof.   It was time to replace it.
It was a beautiful day when they started on Wed.    Rain came on Thurs. so no work.

Today is another blue sky day and they're baaaaaack....with all the pounding to go with it.   lol

They have another day or two before it's all completed but it will be worth it.

What's been happening in your neck of the woods?
Have a great weekend!     Till next time!

So glad to hear that Olivia is going home and feeling better.
I saw some guys doing a roof today when I was out and thought I wouldn't want to be working way up there. Good thing there are people who don't mind the heights. LOL.
It was a beautiful springlike day here today, but I guess rain expected for the weekend.
The flowers should be happy.

So happy to hear she is home now! She is such a pretty little girl, and I love her name! My grandmother's name was Olive, and I should have used Olivia for one of my girls, but they are Alyson and Ashleigh! They say I was "ahead of my time" naming them those names, since it was 20 years later the names became so popular!

With all that pounding going on it's a good day to go shopping!!

Thanks for the update on Olivia! Still praying. I bet your daughter is worn out from all the stress.

So so happy to hear that Olivia is home! Just wonderful!!! A new roof is always, fun, but not necessarily a lot of fun to go through. Best of luck.

Very happy to hear your Olivia is home! She must be very excited and her parents relieved. Wow, what a mess with a new roof! Not too much going on up here. Haven't been feeling well, but hopefully the new meds will help! Enjoy your day!

I'm so glad Olivia is on the mend. I'm sure she'll feel even better now that she's home where she can get some rest. It's so difficult to really rest at a hospital. (Something's wrong with that!)

We just returned from a week-long trip w/Judy & Billy on Saturday night. As I checked your blog this morning, I was surprised to hear about Olivia's surgery...but so thankful to hear that she's doing well!! I know that the Lord was your strength during this.
We'll pray for her.

Oh I'm so glad your little granddaughter is on the mend. She's been on my mind and in my prayers ever since you shared the situation. I'm so happy for you and your family.

The one thing about having roofing replaced, is that you don't really realized how noisy it is until they stop. Then the quiet is beyond beautiful! Good luck!
