Snowmen Tablescape

It rarely snows in SC but it's still fun to decorate with "snowpeople". lol I put out my "snowpeople" after packing away Christmas decorations. I had two snowflake plates from Cracker Barrel and this is what I came up with for a tablescape.
I decided to use something a little "unconventional" for a table covering. I had a cute snowman hooked rug (clean of course) and used it in the center of the table. I have a few snowball candles from Partylite and used one for the centerpiece. On an after thought I took the clear cake plate stand away and just used the snowball on the red candle holder. I thought it would be lower for conversation purposes.
What do you think? Which looks better?

I found snowflake placemats at Old Time Pottery the other day.

I'v had the snowman glasses for several years and can't remember where they came from. The little snowman candle, at the head of the plate came from Big Lot, as did the little plate in the pic below.

The snow mitten plates are from Cracker Barrel a few yrs. ago.

Cute Mr. & Mrs. Salt & Pepper shakers. They look so happy, don't they?

Thanks for taking time to stop by! I always love it when you visit!

I love that rug as the centerpiece....I would sprinkle the snowballs around and not use the traditional centerpiece at all...just a thought!

Your tablescape is so cute! I love snowflakes, and snowmen also. We don't get snow here in Mississippi either, but I'm not complaining, lol. Right now were getting so much rain and lots of dreary days, tho. Thanks so much for stopping by my place.

I just found your beautiful blog and boy do I LOVE it.
Your Christmas table setting looked like it came out of a magazine.
I also went down a few posts and your whole home for Christmas was amazing, your Christmas tree was outstanding.

I have a blog as well, I decorate with just some prims and alot more colonial. I enjoy making our homestead ours. My husband loves it and our sons, one is 20 yrs. old and is in college and our youngest is 17 and is in high school.
I say decorate your home the way you want and makes you and your family feel great when you are in your home.
Your home belongs in a magazine for sure!
You have a real gift for decorating.

Hey girlfriend, your snowman tablescape is just darling. I love the rug for a runner. What a great idea and the snowflake placemats are perfect. I like the centerpiece with or without the pedestal. But like you said, for conversing, it might be better lower. Actually the rug is your centerpiece and topic of conversation. Love your snowman glasses and the mitten plates are awesome. All makes for an inviting winter lunch or dinner. I like that you think out of the box and do something different with your tablesettings.
Wonderful. Have a great weekend and enjoy.
It is real cold tonight. BRRRRR

This is really cute! I would put a snowball candle beside the tiny one at the top of the plates.

I love snowmen/women, they look so happy! I put up an all snowmen tree (and a Santa tree) and forgot to show them on my blog. We did them for our granddaughter, Elisabeth.

I hope all is well for you and yours!

Love the snow people. Great idea since it is hard to let go of the holiday season so soon, it makes for a great transition. Happy new year to you!

I've seen those snowflake plates from Cracker Barrel on only two Christmas table tables ape posts. I love them! And have been searching high and low online for them but no luck :-(. Any idea where I might be able to find them since the store doesn't carry them anymore from what I can tell. Thx!
