Back to Normal

I finally got my tree down, everything labeled, boxed, and put away! It was up longer than usual but I didn't fret about it because I didn't get the tree up till around the 15th of Dec. That was a first! In the past it's always been up Thanksgiving weekend or before but the old Flu bug had other plans for me. So we went from this around here............... to this! It sure opens things up and lets more light in!

So nice to have everything back to normal, isn't it?

I always have to check back and look at pictures before the decorating to know where things were sitting. lol Anyone else have to do that?

I brought out the snowmen and women and I'll share them soon. Thanks for stopping by and taking time from your busy schedule. Have a great week!

I was just mentioning to my hubby that I should take pictures of how things were before Christmas so I can remember when Christmas comes down. I so enjoyed Christmas this year. And your pictures are so beautiful. Your home is so welcoming! Hope you had a nice weekend!!!

Your living room is gorgeous! It's nice to reclaim a room after it has been De~Christmasized!! I often forget where I had things before the holidays, but it's okay, it's fun to try new arrangements!

Jane

It feels good to be back to "normal," doesn't it? Yes, I've done that -- consulted photos to see just how I had things arranged. I usually leave everything bare for a day or two before I get inspired to change things up a bit!

Hi My Friend and glad you are feeling better. Your home looks beautiful. I love it when everything is put away after Christmas. It looks a little bare are first, but fresh and less cluttered. I never remember just how I had things placed so I just start over.LOL
Wishing you a wonderful week. Looking forward to the snow people.
Big hugs, CM

Your home is so beautiful! It's pretty with and without the Christmas decorations. I laughed that you had to check photos to see where to return your decorations...I still have an empty mantel after removing the garland and poinsettias and lights!

While I love Christmas decorations I am always ready to get my house back to normal following the holidays! Hope you are feeling better! Can't wait to see you snowmen!

Stopping by from Met Monday! Your room looks wonderful! You have the same floor plan family room as me. I find mine is such a struggle to arrange furniture because there is only one blank wall and it has to be the entertainment center!

I do like the angle you did and I might have to see if that would work in my room!

Lovely ... both ways and I agree that it does feel good to be "back to normal.
I hope your snowpeople don't melt in this mild weather we have been having. :)
