Sea World

A few more pics of our CA trip. Hope you're not too bored !

I had hoped to break them up and space them out but due to a death and memorial service today, I haven't had time to get anything else together.

Two more pics of the Safari and the rest of the pics are of Sea World. I can't believe that I forgot to post the elephants, especially since the baby was not even 24 hrs. old. It was exciting to see one that had just been born.
You can barely see a trainer in the background that was taking photos and documenting the baby's first few hours of life.
Isn't this sweet!

Tuesday we went over to Sea World in San Diego. What a show we saw!
We caught the splash after Shamu jumped. It was hard to catch them at the right moment. lol
We got a few good shots though.

He's coming back up to take a bow. lol

Entertaining the crowd. It was interesting that not one trainer got into the tank with the whales. I'm sure due to the awful event that took a trainer's life last year.
I've been other Sea Worlds where they have ridden on there backs or been pushed along by the whales nose. Scary!

They are a majestic creature!

This trainer did get close to reward him for his tricks.

It was a warm, sunny day after the long period of rains that CA had just had and the crowds were out in force.

It's amazing how high they come out of the water.

The Sea Lion out on quite a show for us, too.

They can be trained to do so many things, like dancing to tunes of the fifties.

There was an aquarium that we walked through, as well.

The penquins were so cute to see. I didn't know there were so many kinds of penquins, did you?

Thanks for letting me share and for taking time to stop by. I always look forward to your visits!
Till next time!

Good Morning Rose,
What fun to be able to be there and see a newborn Elephant. I was amazed at how small he is compared to his mother. To do all these things with your family is priceless, as you know how much creating memories is important to me, our grandchildren are older now, and when I talk with them we are always talking about a special memory we made, so dear friend just keep making them.
Hugs,
Sue

The newborn little elephant is adorable! I enjoyed seeing the Sea World pictures too. It is interesting to compare it to the one in Orlando.

Hi Rose,
Your pics are amazing. I love the elephants. Just precious.
You made some amazing memories with your family for Christmas.

Thank you for stopping by. I am doing better with my shoulder. Just need to rest it more often.
My chair turned out gorgeous. I will have pics soon when the walls are finished. We are starting on the kitchen redo. Decided to do the granite first, before the rest. Before and afters to follow as the work goes along.

Have a great weekend sweet friend and sending hugs from Texas,
Celestina Marie
