Weekend Fun With The Grandkids

Saturday we babysat while Sarah went to get her hair highlighted. That takes at least 3 hours so we had lots of time to occupy a 3 & 1 yr. old.
We took a long walk around the neighborhood, went to the play area, and played in the backyard for a while. After Lunch the baby went down for a nap and Jonas, Papa and I colored eggs.
He's patiently waiting for the dye to work. It was a little difficult cuz his mom brought brown eggs. lol The dye finally did it's job. He got some blue and red on his hands and when his mom got home he told her his hands died. lol After laughing I corrected him and told him to tell her they got dyed.

Here's a few pictures of Easter morning. They looked so cute I had to share.

They like to hug each other. He's pretty protective of her.

She thinks he's so funny!

One of her serious moments.

I hope you had a wonderful Easter with family and friends!

Thanks for watching my beautiful babies.
You can't beat those brown farm fresh eggs! I peeled them all today and made a salad with them. Both the kids ate about one each for a snack. I couldn't believe how much they loved them. I'll have to boil them more often!

I know you don't want to take down all your darling Easter decos...my stuff is still up and so is Mother's. We both love looking at the Spring stuff and just hate to put it away:) Thank you so much for your prayers for my friend Jan. I hope you don't mind that I have placed Ceekay, your brother, and your sister on my prayer list.

Aww they are so adorable. I can't wait to have some grandkids.. I just have to get my kids out of college and married first. I will not rush that. I love your blog background too.

I would imagine getting brown eggs to turn color was a long process! Cute pictures of the kiddoes.

We've had the kids all week again - I'm tired! But they were good most of the time.
