Out of Town Company

We were excited to have Katherine and her hubby visit our home and town last week. We had lunch downtown, walked by the park and showed them the sites on Monday. (which neither of us had our regular cameras.) I did however, have a disposable one in the car and used it. I need to take it in and have the film developed. We had dinner at home and they had a chance to meet our daughter and grandchildren.

On Tuesday morning I had breakfast for them at our house. I had to watch Jonas (our grandson) in the early morning so his mom could keep a doctors apt. Here's Katherine and her sweet hubby.

Katherine and Jonas really hit it off. We thought it was so sweet how he warmed up to her. They were watching the movie "Cars" together.

They make a cute pair, don't you think?

As soon as Sarah returned to pick up Jonas, we headed to the mountains to a "A Day In The Country". It's a beautiful shop set in an old Victorian house. We had lunch, shopped, and a fun time together. Here we are on the front steps.

Near the end, the guys, which were very good sports, sat on the porch waiting for us.

Katherine and hubby headed up the mountains toward Knoxville, TN and we headed home. It was such an enjoyable visit.
Katherine gave me this sweet gift that I will always have as a reminder of her visit.
She had it in this cute bag.

Inside was this adorable tea pot.

Thanks Katherine. We'll look forward to another visit.
Hope you all are having a happy week thus far. Thanks for visiting!
