We took a little staycation to York while on the way to Brattonsville. It's a quaint, small town that has lovely shops and eateries. Here's the start of our tour at the old clock in the middle of town. We saw an antique shop right across the street from the clock and just had to go in.lol Hubby probably wishes we hadn't cuz we left with this little beauty. Actually he wanted it more than I did. lol We put it in a spare bedroom as a bedside table.

Your outings are similar to the ones my husband and I enjoy together! AND we celebrated OUR 38th on the 5th of June. Isn't it nice to be so compatible in interests with your husband??
So cute that your hubby wanted the table more than you!! How nice to spend a great day together. With my hubby gone so much of the time when he is home, there's always so much work to do around the house we hardly have time to do fun things like you and your hubby did. Loved the pictures!! Thanks for sharing them!

What a fun trip you took - I love looking at old, beautiful houses. Very pretty little table!

My Mr. Brit husband and I recently went to Boone, NC in feb...it was lovely. We too like day-trips and cemetary browsing.....
Love the house and the tea room/cafe. Enjoy the hubby....they can be great friends.
Lord Have Mercy...I love going to visit old graveyards and looking at the dates on the headstones. It really is interesting to me. York sounds like a place I would love to visit someday!
