And all through the house
Boxes were piled and scattered
And scared even a mouse! (And anyone else nearby)!
Enough of my poetry, already. I like to keep the tubs in the garage and bring them in one by one as needed. It helps keep my sanity. I use green for traditional Christmas items and the blue for my snowmen. All my decorating is done now. Shew! It's a job, isn't it? You want everything just right, especially if you are posting pics. ( We put so much pressure on ourselves, don't we?) smile
I thought I would start by showing the Santas that I have painted over many years. Some are in acrylics and some in oils.
The next two, I used a special mallet to create the wood grain look.
This one is opens up to tell a greeting.
The next few are small but cute.

All your Santas are great but I like the first blue one best. I know Santas really should be red, but I like blue.

I love your Scandinavian Santa, and the one tub-routine!! Problem is I am kind of an all or nothing gal, so my living room will be all stacked up tomorrow!! I just move them right back out when I'm done with them. Whatever works, right??!! Thanks for sharing your talent with us!!
Blessings, Becky
what sweet santas you have - I believe a friend of mine made the Joy one before. They are each unique. Thanks for taking the time to show us!
I love your Santas. I'm enjoying seeing everyone's different ways of decorating for CHristmas. COnnie
How fun to look at all your beautiful hand-painted Santas! I was completely surprised to see your fifth Santa, the one with a tree on either side of him; I took a painting class about 15 years ago and painted the exact same guy! It was a fun class, but I've done very little with it since then. Thanks for showing all your work. Maybe I'll get inspired to put away my cross stitched ornaments and pull out the paints :)
Your santas are great!! You are very talented!
