I'M OFF MY ROCKER!
I'd like to be back on it again, literally that is.
Life just gets too busy and we sometimes forget to take time and pleasure in the simple things in life. My husband and I decided to sit in our rockers for awhile on Sat. evening and "people watch". To take time to say hi to the walkers, parents pushing baby strollers, and peoples walking their dogs. (We tend to live out back and don't know whats happening in the front.)
We had two open houses for college grads on Sat. as well as some errands, came back and decided to rock for awhile. It felt good just to be still for awhile, if ya know what I mean. (smile)
With the threat of rain and bad storms I didn't get to pull the rest of my pansies out and put in my summer flowers. We did get all the outside windows washed though.
Here's a couple of pics of the porch and a basket on the front door with spring flowers in it.
I hope you all had a restful weekend with family and friends. Thanks for visiting my blog and for all the sweet comments. Have a great week!

I love that basket on the door. I have to try to get one of those! I love those rockers on your porch, it is so down home southern hospitality at its best! Love ya!
Hi Ro,
I too love that basket on your front door. You have a very beautiful front porch!
Beautiful rockers, beautiful home. Glad you took time to rest and enjoy the weekend...Kathy
Ok, I'd be rockin' everyday if I had a front porch like yours! What a lovely place to sit still for a bit. How fun to sit and watch the going's on in the neighborhood. You have a gorgeous home and yard!

Love the basket on the front door! Very pretty and springy! Your porch looks so inviting! And my, how your clean windows sparkle in the pictures! Looks like a southern postcard! :) ~Rhonda
Hello Ro,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving that sweet comment! :)
For the salad dressing:
I just basically mix enough honey until I no longer taste the mayonnaise, and then maybe just 1/4-1/2 tsp of soy. You don't need much soy at all.
Have a great evening!
Your porch is so lovely. We've never had a front porch, but I sure would love to have one. I remember sweet summer days spent on my grandma's porch.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate your comment.
Blessings,
Wanita
Ro,
I was just looking through your blog. Looky Lou I think they call it? Anyway, you have such a beautiful house. I can't get over your front porch & yard! It's just perfect. I'm from AZ and we don't have many houses with front porches.
Brandee :-)
