When Time Stood Still

I put the entertainment center back to it's original state after taking down Christmas decorations and thought I'd share an idea with you.
Notice the small oval baby pictures on the shelves. One is on the upper left and one on the middle right shelves.
I took small clocks and set the time to the exact time that each of our daughters were born.
It felt like time stood still when they made their entrance into the world.
Our oldest was born at 2:09 in the afternoon.
A few years later our 2nd daughter arrived at 7:47 p.m. We tell her she flew out like a 747 jet, which she did. The timing couldn't have been more perfect.
Enjoy your day! Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to visit other Show & Tells over at Cindy's My Romantic Home .

That's a cute idea. Seems like yesterday they were born, right? Time does fly and sometimes I wish it would stand still when it comes to my children. They're both leaving in 2 hours for a church youth retreat leaving me all alone here for the weekend. Olivia already told me not to hang around the church, "Just drop us off and leave." Nice, huh?

Enjoy your weekend!

That's a great idea. I'm going to have to see if I have some little clocks around here somewhere.
Have a great weekend.

What a wonderful idea! Time moves so fast when the kids arrive. Mine are 24 and 21 and it seems like only a few short years ago they were in preschool, now they're young adults making a life of their own. Those years truly flew by like a flash.

That is such a sweet idea, and big statement to your darlings how much their arrival into the family meant.
