Here in SC we rarely have snow. When we do it is usually only a dusting on the ground. We may get an ice storm but our temperatures quickly rise above freezing and melts it. Of course, the damage is permanent.
We've been fortunate so far this year and have not seen ice or snow. A couple of years ago, however, we did. While I was busy in the house, hubby disappeared for a while and then asked me to look out the window. I couldn't believe my eyes. His creativity never ceases to amaze me. He had wrote (or I should say stepped) me a message in the snow large enough for airplanes going over to see.
I asked him how he got by without footsteps showing that connected the words. He just smiled and said he hopped over to the next word. You can see how he started his path from the patio in the pic above and below. He's a very funny guy.

What a romantic guy your husband is.
We had a little snow this week. I love to see it come, but I'm glad we don't have to shovel it.
Your grandson looks adorable in his little snowsuit.
I have always loved that!
You have a very romantic hubby! Hope you're staying warm and that little grandson is so precious in his little snowsuit.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

What a great idea! What a great guy!! I knew he was kind and sweet, but didn't know he is romantic! More points for him!

Now that's a happy man! Love the photo of your grandson:-)
That is so sweet! I love it.
I am always amazed at the pansies, even in Colorado, and what they can endure - the ones up by the house foundations can make it through the window.
That is the sweetest thing! Very romantic.

P.s. Thank you for the birthday wishes!
I'm still confused how he was able to do that...jumping?? Amazing. What a guy you have!!! Enjoy the snow, it'll be gone before you know it!!
What a sweet guy! I love it! And little Jonas is going to be quite the heartbreaker - what a doll baby!

So, did you make the chicken? Did you all like it? I almost made it again tonight, lol.
What a lucky lady you are. And that little guy is a doll. Those eyes, a future lady killer. Thanks for the peek, Maryrose
Your husband is an example to all the rest of us guys. No snow in Scottsdale however. Maybe I can dream us something special for Valentine's Day.
Oh how sweet! Cute little fellow too! nancy
That message in the snow is one of the sweetest things I've ever seen!! Those little blue eyes are precious too. :)
