The Long family at our church came together to bury their mother, Edith Long, last week. She was a retired teacher at Bob Jones University who taught German for many years.
Her son, Paul, came from CA and spoke at his mother's funeral. He traveled back to CA with his wife and son a few days later. They caught the commuter train that was involved in the horrible wreck in LA a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, Paul sustained injuries too severe to survive. His wife has a punctured lung and their son a broken nose. Their physical injuries will heal--their emotional injuries will take much prayer.

The family members from our church are headed to CA, for yet another funeral on the heels of burying their mother.
If you think of it pray for his family and all the families affected from the accident, as well as those affected from the recent hurricanes.
